Handback uses the service providers below to operate the service. Each one processes personal information only to provide its service to Handback, under that provider's data-processing terms.
This list is written from the running system, not from intentions. Every row was checked against the deployed configuration.

Email is processed outside the United States. Handback's email provider is provisioned in Tokyo. Emails sent to you — and the names and addresses inside them — are processed there. Nothing else leaves the United States: the database, the photographs and the backups all stay on the Oregon disk.
There is no analytics, advertising, session-replay or error-reporting vendor. Error alerts are generated inside the application and emailed through Resend, scrubbed of passwords, tokens and cookies before sending. No third-party script of any kind runs on the site or in the app.
There is no separate authentication provider. Sign-in is handled by Handback itself: passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions are signed cookies.
Support is handled directly at support@tryhandback.com. No ticketing vendor is used.
Handback may update this list as the service changes. Where the Data Processing Addendum requires it, Handback will give reasonable notice before a new provider begins processing customer personal data.
